Wick Maintenance The wick is designed to last, but over time it will burn down. When the flame gets weak or low, use tweezers to gently pull up the wick from the top and trim off the blackened end. This refreshes the flame and keeps it burning clean. Replacing the Flint The flint (the small stone that creates the spark) will wear down with regular use.
