Stripe Band Collar Flannel

The Band Collar shirt’s origins are fuzzy. It could have been an industrious, turn-of-the-century wife’s washing hack. It might have derived from blue-collar workers worried about wandering collar points getting caught in machinery. Could have come from WWI standard-issue uniforms. Regardless, it’s just plain cool, unless it shrinks and irrevocably wrinkles up on you in the washer like most cheap options do. Ours is not so feeble, a nod to whichever history is your favorite.

All Elk Head shirting is designed for a functional, flattering fit that’s intentionally a little “party in the back, business in the front”: a bit longer tail (but not too long) than shirt front that maximizes your  ability to wear the shirt tucked or untucked.
